Amrita Kaur is an internationally acclaimed vocalist renowned for her versatility across Gurbani kirtan, Sufi, devotional, Punjabi folk, ghazals, film and contemporary music. With a voice celebrated for its warmth, authenticity and emotional depth, she has captivated audiences worldwide through concerts, festivals, cultural events, destination weddings and devotional gatherings.
In July 2026, Amrita completed a highly successful United Kingdom tour, headlining a sold-out performance at London's iconic Royal Festival Hall before an audience of nearly 3,000 people. She also made her debut at the historic Birmingham Town Hall, alongside a series of widely attended Gurbani kirtan programs across the country, receiving an overwhelming response from audiences throughout the UK.
Amrita's live renditions of "Ik Onkar," "O Palanhaare," and "Khwaja Mere Khwaja" have become viral sensations, with Instagram reels for each surpassing 40 million views. Alongside these acclaimed performances, she continues to expand her catalogue of original music with recent releases including "Zindagi" and "Ishq Mubarak," with more original songs scheduled for release throughout 2026.
Born in the United Kingdom, spending her early childhood in Malaysia and raised in New Zealand, Amrita began performing at the age of seven alongside her father, renowned musician and sound engineer Yadvinder Singh. She later trained in Hindustani classical music under Professor Shukdev Madhur while completing a Master's degree in Architectural Studies at the University of Auckland, where her thesis, Ragamala – A Garland of Architecture and Music, explored the relationship between Indian classical ragas and architecture.
A defining international milestone came in 2023, when Amrita became the first Sikh artist to perform as part of Lahore's prestigious Virsa Heritage Revived series in Pakistan. Following the concert's remarkable success, she was invited to perform again in 2024, with performances including "Saanson Ki Mala" and "Punjabi Tappe" receiving widespread acclaim.
Today, Amrita performs internationally across concerts, festivals, private events and devotional programs, while continuing to reach millions through YouTube, Spotify and social media.
